3. Who is he? He was born in 1966. Originally a union player, he made his England debut against Ireland in 1988 aged 21 and played on the summer tour against Australia. After training as a policeman he then turned his back on union which was then an amateur-only game, and played professional rugby league. He played for Great Britain at league twice and signed for Leeds RLFC, before moving on to Halifax RLFC (later the Blue Sox) as well as enjoying a short spell in Australia with Balmain before moving back to Union when the game became a Proffessional sport.

If you mean St Helens Rec then that was 1939.

Broughton Rangers folded in 1955 after being in existence since 1877.

Think they started up again in 2007 and are still playing in some local amateur league.
