Supporters were definitely less apathetic then. I cant remember which game it was exactly but it was around that time i got taken to my first match (i was about 6). Players seemed bigger then

Maybe they were more vocal, the ones who turned up. But 15000 for a Cup Final against HKR who at the time had a good following was hardly setting the world alight, especially as it was Big Mal's last game in the Red Vee.

Can remember being there like it was yesterday. I had this pimple right between my ball sack and bum hole and it was killing me all day getting up and down watching the game lol.

But back to the game, all I remeber about it was the Hull KR winger jumping to catch a ball, and kicking the Saints winger in the belly, studs up, very nasty. (just not as nasty as pimply ball sacks....)

It was my 18th birthday that day do you think your pimple had anything to do with that?
