Warrington wing prospect Kevin Penny has joined Widnes on a month's loan along with Wolves team-mate Steve Pickersgill.
Penny, 21, burst onto the engage Super League scene with 12 tries in as many appearances two years ago and showed further promise last year but has since fallen out of favour.
Prop Pickersgill, 23, is also down the pecking order at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and joins Co-operative Championship neighbours Widnes in the hope of gaining more first-team experience.
The move reunites both players with former Wolves coach Paul Cullen, who took charge of the Vikings earlier this season.
Cullen said: "I've worked with both Steve and Kevin at close hand and I'm sure they will be great additions to our squad."
