Probably the only true "charachter" we have left in british rugby league. Rugby League needs players with his kind of charisma.

Look pal. It's a sad day for saints when long goes but that's rugby.

Players move on. Like scully, joynt, newlove, tommy and other great players.

No point in slashing your wrists over it as potter would put it.

True. And he left us with a lot to reflect on.

I've said it before and il say it againt that long is the biggest match winner I've seen!

How many times as he droped a goal, kicked a goal or had part in a try that ends up being the match winner.
