I think expecting a walkover is daft, we will be favourites, but anything can and possibly will happen.

Hull players and fans will be up for this once the game starts.

The only irony is that if Hull win and Rovers win then Hull will see their friends top of the league

Hull always seem to up their game when they play us. Or is it just me thinking that is the case.

I thought the same thing. I would expect us to come away with a win but like was proved against Wigan at Edinburgh anything can happen.

It's been quiet on here all week really, except for talk about Long and his successor(s).

Any Saints fan expecting a win against any other team this season is not only asking for trouble but is stupid as well. Hull have lost a few now so they could be a Bradford and decide to take out their angst on us. And we could do a Saints versus Bradford and let them!

I don't know how many are going. Friday nights long distance are always awkward for any team's fans. I won't be going but then I hardly go to away matches because I'm limited financially.

Whatever the final score is, I hope it's a good match for both sets of fans and I hope the rain goes away/holds off/never arrives (whichever!).

Of course I also hope we manage to scrape a win.

True, but unfortunately 2003 and 2004 seem a world away now.
