Stadium plans. : Thu Jun 11, 2009 5:07 pm
Reading the thread about the Stadium, it seems some fans have not yet seen the plans, if not you can see them at the address below.

you will need a dolby reader as the files are compressed.

first download the address.

http://212.248.225.150:8080/portal/serv ... PKID=50095

Scroll down, then click on - level 02 general arrangement plan, this is the upstairs in the main stand, expand the page 150% to 200%

then click on level 00 general arrangement plan, this is the ground floor at pitch level.

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

I must say it looks very impressive, no doubt this will be the best purpose built rugby league stadium in the country, which excludes, Galpharm, KC and JJB. It will be good to see more teams playing in good stadiums. No doubt it will be a cracking atmosphere for the derbies.

Interesting point about purpose built RL stadiums (sorry, stadia) in Superleague. Assuming Salford is ready before us we'll be only the 3rd new purpose built RL stadium in Superleague, if not we'll be the 2nd. Depressing really.

Can't see Salfords being finished before ours. Very little sign of activity there!

no chance of Salfords new stadium getting up before ours...they will still be playing at the Willows in NL1 when we have played 10 years at the new ground.

I am shocked at the number of loos there are on that plan. How can the average Saints fan cope with lots of loos to chose from? That alone will be an amazing experience!

Salford havent put out any tenders yet. They have got planning permission but no money.

Without tenders for construction contracts its nothing more than a dream.

Once tenders are signed re the Saints stadium we know the ground will start to go up
