Hampsons posistioning was the best i've seen under a high ball, however I'll say Vievers was better under the high ball than donk.

Hampson is best I've ever seen under the high ball.

I was talking to hampson other week. He has just had a promotion with his job. Before his new job he was cleaning toilets on a building site in widnes.

Now that is a tough one.......both were/are safe as H's under a high ball. Can't remember either of them dropping too many.

I'll go for Wello, but only because he's a St.Helens lad.

Il go for veivers but only just. I think wello isn't as safe as he was 2 years ago but is prob still best super league player under high ball.

With veivers though I always knew he would take the bomb.

Veivers.

Most consistent player I ever saw in the V, and hugely versatile to boot.

Gutted he defected to the dark side, still one of my favourite ever S men.

Very tough but wello takes it!

Can count on one hand how many high balls wello has dropped.

Plus Phil died on Billinge hill

RIP Phil
