I always thought that when it was level at 6-6, they looked the more likely to score. Wigan failed to take their chances tonight and it cost them.

The worry for them is they put everything into that match and will have nothing left for catalans, who are finally playing well and come away from easter without anything.

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

I can't be doing with all this praise.

Great game of rugby.
Saints defence again was superb.

Well refereed.
We probably deserved something from the game, but I've no complaints. I would have given the Hock try after watching the replay as it looks as though the Saints player pulled Hocks arm up, but then I wouldn't have given Ainscoughs try.

O'Loughlin was outstanding tonight and should have got the m.om. (who got it)

Bed time, taxi at 4:15 Perpignan here we come.

We weren't quite good enough in the end but it's a point to build from.

Aslong as we keep giving the likes of Ainscough and Tomkins a go i'm happy to be patient as a quality side must be around the corner somewhere.

If we had a leader like Cunningham tonight we'd have taken the points imo. He was sensational in his second spell and turned the game. I don't want to slate our skipper as i thought he was probably the man of the match but his influenece on the side isn't that of Cunningham.

The sheer professionalisim of Saints is something our guys must learn from but overall that was a great game and hopefully we'll see more of the same in the coming months.

I thought the highlight of the night was when Stevo said "Both teams must be shattered after their tough Cup Games last week".

Barrow???

They ran Wigan close on Sunday, only 12 points in it.

It shouldn't have been but the game against Barrow was a real tough contest.

I thought Saints had their worst game of the season, including the Hull KR game, besides a 10 minute spell in the second half. This is understandable considering the bruiser on Sunday, so credit for pulling through in the end

I wouldn't call a team that had that many sets on an opponents line with only 2 tries to show for it 'superb', but hey opinions are like holes in backsides.

I thought we were shocking, and did our best to help Wigan win the game.

I thought Wigan were all huff and puff and shown very little creativity.

Any team worthy of a top five place would have beaten us with a bit to spare tonight.
