You're right I didn't hear that. But it was so audible for Solomona even Eddie mentioned it.

I don't doubt it, but as has been said, most teams fans do it for minor injuries.

I did notice something about the hit on fa'as though, Silverwood didn't demand the ball be passed to another player for play to continue instantly like he did after Wilkn throttled Sheriffe.

Sheriffe was taking the mick a touch I thought, he didn't know whether to rub his neck, or the back of his head, or both. ;)

Never heard them singing 'die Newton', so they can't have been that many... or being that loud.

And whilst I thought us lot were very vocal tonight, I bet no one could hear us in the pop side, as there was only about 50 of us!

Plenty of Bradford fans were cheering when Fa'asavalau was wobbling after being hit by Burgess.

It was just that there were so few of them you probably didn't hear it on the tv, or in any other stand come to think of it, but they were cheering.

there is a difference in being clobbered agin being injured

Posted a similar thread about our fans on SS. Didnt realise you guys were booing the team though. Only heard them towards Silverwood

Anyway, Leeds and Sts were 2 and 1 leading into the game yet they are getting booed when losing. What gets me though is that its probably the people who had a go at the Wire fans for the same thing. God help us when we go through a rough patch (which will happen) and our clubs are at the opposite end of the ladder.

Exactly, perhaps some of our fans need to realise how lucky they are really.

Yes we didn't win, yes its disappointing but I don't agree with booing the players no matter what, it achieves nothing.

And as for the die newton die - some players need to learn to move on and stop holding grudges.

I think it was directed at the ref, we (majority of fans) clapped the team off

Well, it probably makes the booers feel better and it also lets the team know that some people were not too happy with the performance, which probably could be said for just about every fan last night. I was bemused myself, especially when they started playing backwards. It was so bizarre I found myself laughing a lot at the sight of Saints running closer and closer to Bradford's tryline when in fact they were supposed to be running towards their own. I did try to remind them that they were supposed to be going the other way, but they didn't seem to hear me.

All in all it was a strange night but no doubt Bradford out-enthused and out-played us and deserved their win.
