That's too long a time frame for that, at some point we're going to have to find out if Eastmond is good enough, not giving him the opportunity to build a partnership with Pryce by dropping him every other week and for big games is not going to work.

Long may want a 2 year contract but whether he gets it or not is another thing.

KC is going at the end of the year. Moore is a Saint next year.

Absolutely no way should he be given a new contract, let alone one for two years.


I'd rather struggle for a year or two with Eastmond/Wheeler/Smith and decide who plays than risk losing all of them just to keep Longy on.

The fact is he doesn't deserve a new contract.

I'd have to agree with this, his time has been, its all well and good playing well for two big games a year, but what about the other 30 or so

TBH, I wouldnt even give him a one year contract based on his performances so far. Imagine the cap space we will have with him off the wage bill. As Ski said, no room for sentiment. Hes been a fantastic player, but his performances this season arent warranting him being offered a new contract imo.
