He is not a centre so cannot be considered as an 'experienced centre' IMO. He's not lasted long there this season, with that experiment failing miserably, so I can't see how they would plan to keep him there for another 18 months.

The lack of controversy post-Millward does sometimes become boring though eh? There's a cloud attached to every silver lining.

Millward was great for saints and always was good to listen to but sometimes showed lack of respect for other teams, refs, players and even the fans at times.

It got to the point where the was some sort of story involving millward every week so saints said enough is a enough.

DA showed respect to all and was very grounded which showed we could still be the best and also show respect when we won or the odd time we lost.

McManus was apparently not happy with the absolute shambles that occurred on Saturday at the Catalans game regarding seat allocation.

Saints were given the furthest right block (out of 4/5 blocks) in the away end. The rest were reserved for school children. Saints fans were scattered all around the ground.

A quote from the safety steward after going to enquire about the situation:

"We have let more children in than we can fit in the away end, we couldn't turn them away".

The stairways in between blocks were full of kids who had come a bit late. So if you wanted something to eat or to go to the loo, you had to crawl your way through. If there was an emergency, hmm that could have been nasty.

A further quote regarding the overfilling of the away end

"If something bad happens, it happens".

It did. At some point during the game, we looked to our left and saw a little boy in a sort of foetal position lying on the floor on the main walkway at the front of the stand. It took this incident for stewards to rush in and then start manning the several walkways that were overcrowded, although they didn't do anything, they just stood there. The child who was lying on the floor was eventually carried away on someone's shoulder and I presume and hope he was OK. Would be interesting to find out what actually happened.

The seating was a farce. I hope the young lad is ok, i didnt see that.

Wtaching the TV coverage you could see redvee fans were scattered all over the shop, I thought it bizzare as you normaly see awya fans huddled together behind the sticks, or sat together in one of the stands. But on saturday there seemed to be 4 locations with redvee's in them.... send a letter of complaint to the frog CEO, the fat guy with the moustache, I forgot his name, he replied to my letter last time i moaned about their fans throwing coins and stuff at us. Grant Meyer I think his name is, hmmmm I maybe wrong though?
