Absolutely sensational tonight IMO. He is a fantastic player and on tonights evidence he is easily England's finest 13. When Scully's knee popped again he is the guy we should have tapped up to replace him. He had such a swagger about him tonight and the aura of class. He kicks goals too.

always tought he deserved better than london, but he likes the big smoke so good luck to him. lot of time for purdy, he is a nice guy and a rather good rl player. one of the few cumbriansa who made it into the big time.

Hate to say it but in the world cup he looked one of the players most out of their depth!

Some said he was one of Englands best performer?

He didn't take the goal kicks in a few games he played early in the season because of a groin injury (itself a sign of his determination to get on the park), but he's got 23 out of 24 when he has kicked. I agree that he looked nervous in the World Cup and his form deserted him, but he wasn't alone. He's tried that kick from the base of the scrum (the highlight of our World Cup) a few times this season, but the final bounce has beaten the chaser within 10 metres of the line on three occasions.

Thought Scarsbrook played well last night as well. He's still maturing but he's got a great attitude and ran some good lines. Definitely in the running for the international games later this year even if just for the experience of getting bounced around by the Aussies.

IMO, Scarsbrook is very over-rated and the only reason people rave about him is because he is from London. As for last night, i thought he got banged a few times, albeit he kept coming back, but looked very easy to tackle and always got up holding a part of his body as if he was injured. Saw him holding his hand a few times.

All players get injured. If we were basing the quality of the player on that we'd have had Scully, Cunningham and Long shot years ago.

I like LMS as a player, runs in hard and is of better quality than someone like Hargreaves.

I wasn't basing my opinion on the fact he kept getting injured. I was basing my opinion on the fact i don't think he's as good as people say and that i always feel he gets tackled really easy. I was just stating that he looked to be nursing a few knocks last night, after a few big tackles went in on him.

Rumours that LMS broke his arm last night. Does that make him a Southern pansy?

Saint Billy will think so.

What a soft sh*te! Playing rugby league with a broken arm.
