stand by for rogues gallerys recollections of murrayfield when he failed to get past radlinski.

In 2002 it was as much Alberts indecision as Radders pace and positioning.

that said,he was a great winger.such a shame he left when he did as he still had a lot to give.the best winger i've seen at saints.

I actually thought Radders tackle against Albert in 2004 at Cardiff was even better. Albert was at full pace and Radders managed to get too him from behind.

Great tackle.

Albert didn't have a great try scoring record against Wigan.

Uncle was a gem, great drinker to and always good for a chat in the kebab house. Uncle was indeed a gem, beside in that game where he allowed Wayne McDonald to go full length at KR hahaha remember that game, Big Wayne turned Uncle inside out twice I think, the whoel ground stood and sat waiting for someone to takle the big gloid in the whinos shirt, but low N behold he scores the best try any prop has scored in the history of the sport.

TBf, i think he was always in doubt when he come face to face with Radlinski after Murryfeild. Has he scored in 2002, chance are he would have had more confidence to take on Radlinski, but he seemed to lack confidence when facing him and was in doubt wether to take him on or not, which made him hesitate and then made it a bit easier for Radlinski.

He was a class act Albert, thats for sure. When he used to run, he didn't look all that fast or as if he was trying to run at full pelt, but no-one could get near him. The try from the scrum against Harlequins away stands out for me for some reason, when he broke through from the scrum and went all the way. Another thing that stands out is he he always had Vainikolo in his back pocket when ever we played Bradford.

I dunno about not looking fast , he certainly made it look easy. I wish Meli and especially Gardner were as quick tbh. I do like Ade but there are times when he looks like he's wading through a swamp when he makes a break.

Great player and a great professional. Didn't make the best of his number one asset, tho.

Agree completely. Didn't back himself enough to cruise round the outside. Could have been an all time great as this rest of his game was superior to most wingers knocking again these days.

Not a patch on Cunningham on Mark Smith.
