we did it twice against Dewsbury during the 1977-78 season but the second game was in the Floodlit Trohpy
The last time we actually Nilled the same team twice in a season was Swinton in the 1953-54 season.
Mamoth 2-0 and 8-0 scorelines.
we also amazingly have done the double, two teams nilled in a season home and away Liverpool Stanley and Whitehaven in the 1948-49 season.

Oh dear Paul!
Leave it to your Statistician! lol
What about Workington Town in 1979-80 (nilled once in the Challenge Cup admittedly)
and, about Liverpool City, also in 1953-54 and in the league too thus negating the need to mention 1948-49 season, lol!
Anyway, for the record, here's what I posted on red vee when Blobby asked the question!
In 'League' Matches (which I am assuming you mean), the last time this happened was over 55 years ago, in 1953-54 and it happened twice in the same season:
14/11/53 Swinton (H) W 2-0
09/01/54 Swinton (A) W 8-0
(For the record, Saints also beat Swinton (H) on 23/09/53 by 38-9 in a Lancs Cup Rd 2 match that year)
15/08/53 Liverpool City (A) W 46-0
20/03/54 Liverpool City (H) W 18-0
Whilst we're on the subject, it is over 73 years since it happened to Saints, way back in 1935-36:
26/12/35 Wigan (H) L 0-14
10/04/36 Wigan (A) L 0-14
However to literally answer you Blobby! If you include Cup ties. In 1979-80, Saints nilled Workington twice in the same season and in 1977-78 Saints nilled Dewsbury twice:
23/12/79 Workington (H) W 51-0
10/02/80 Workington (A) W 16-0 - CC1
09/04/80 Workington (A) L 5-20
18/09/77 Dewsbury (A) W 18-0
11/10/77 Dewsbury (H) W 51-0 - FT1
08/01/78 Dewsbury (H) W 23-7
So there you have it!
Amateurs! lol
