Without Gilmour we still have four experienced back rowers (Wilkin, Flannery, Clough, Puletua) and two youngsters in Dixon and Ashurst who are highly rated and have seen first team action.
Compare that with our situation at prop, where next season we will only have Graham and Fa'asavalu who are IMO of the required quality to be regularly in the 17.
If letting Gilmour go means we can afford to bring in a quality prop then I'd be all for it.
And to answer the op's question - it would be a top signing for HKR, provided you used him in the pack.
