This is the most impressive batch of youngsters we've produced since I've been watching Saints. There is genuinely 6 or 7 excellent young talents coming though and a few who we've yet to see e.g. McGennis.

Wheeler gets better and better with every game and Kyle's talent is obvious. Along with Graham, Roby, Clough, Dixon and Ashurst we've got some good players coming through the ranks.

Lomax smashed the wire players all over the field. I think he caused a wire player to knock on from one of his booming hits. Gets down low and nails the player every time. He did well and looks a lively prospect.

So so so good to see so much youth get a chance and show up good. More game time for the youth now we have Fas out for a lengthy spell.

Can't beleive that was aimed at me after what I've been saying about these kids all year!!!

That is only 2nd time ive seen lomax and I think he got something about him.

Nobody has mentioned Dixon yet I thought he did well he wasn't out of place in the first team, with him and Ashurst the second-row looks good for the future.

I thought Dixon was absolutely solid in defence, he has slotted back into the first team very quickly and seems to be growing in confidence, definately one for the future.

As an armchair supporter I only get to watch saints when they are on sky.
That said I have only seen the young lads a few times.

As someone who thought we would need to dip into the transfer market to replace Long. I am sure there are many who have have seen the talent coming, way before I have. But there is a time when prospect needs to come to the fore and show the promise on the bigger stage.

Well last night I witnessed the propect and the deliverance from notable Eastmond and am kinda thinking Dobson is well left in hull.

Well done eastmond, hopefully we are on sky a few more times before Longy comes back. Otherwise i may have to shell out the twenty odd quid and go and watch live.

As for wheeler, I have seen him a few more times and he looks a cracker too!
