If we are going to bring over NRL players they have to be no older than 28. That way we at least have a chance of seeing plenty of game time out of them.

Ideally, but realistically superleague is unlikely to attract young, top class nrl players. Either older top class players or younger second tier

David Fairleigh, Darren Britt, Matt Gidley and Darren Smith - four examples of players over 30 who gave us quality, 2 of them played for us for a few years too. I think with the young players we have in our squad, we require some experienced heads. I dont know a great deal about Laffranchi but he's played for Australia recently so he must be highly regarded.

add to that Baloo, who gave us his best years in the sport between 32-34
