Posted in another thread but the mirror links us with Bryce Gibbs (prop), Trent Waterhouse (prop / back row) and Jarryd Hayne... Freaking hell, that would be some signing!!

Hayne will never come (and please, quote me on that!). It would make a mockery of Warrington being the team to sign for though.

It really wouldn't surprise me if Eamonn put up some MASSIVE numbers for Hayne. If this was 2/3 years ago we may have had more than an outside chance as well but the $ is so strong against the £ that it would mean us spending roughly 1/4 of our cap a year to get him I reckon. Not sure that is feasible regardless of how good he is.

as i've just said in another thread, he wont come to SL, he can earn more in Oz than any SL team can afford under the cap

I agree, it would take around £400k to get someone of his calibre over here

It wouldn't surprise if an enquiry had been made, it's happened before with SBW. Tr chances of getting him are low to zilch. Still nice to be linked with lots of players though. Next season will be a new era in more ways than one.

I think saints would agree to his release as not many clubs keep coaches that want out for obvious reasons.

As you've said, they sacked him once before and he's not proven he's up to it as yet.
