So he must be be top class player If DA put his name forward. Funny he can't get selected for parramatta and no other team has taken him ?

I just feel we need some players that have proven quality and not so much bargain basement signings. SMD peyroux and Tasi don't really fill me with joy tbh.

I'm not saying he must be top class because DA recommended him, I'm saying the club took the opinions of people they trust to give an honest judgement before deciding to proceed. It's not a case of signing anyone because they've done xyz.

Hohaia was as proven as they come, yet by the end of his contract nothing more than backup.

That's what happens when you sign and World Cup wining NZ fullback on and play him everywhere apart from fullback. We have super Royce to thank for that.

Regarding DA, we could do with him doing a few sessions on defence with us. He really tightened is up in his spell at the club

With a full strength team Josh Jones can't even get a game on the bench. Which means he's a reserve grade player.

The only people here suggesting Peyroux is one of our headline players are the usual dingbats best ignored.

Crying out for top class prop. Strangely saints also feel we need a prop and last out to 3/4 for next year.

I know Peyroux is to replace Josh Jones but we are replacing squad players. We should be looking a better quality of players who will put pressure on the current first grade players to perform.

The 17 picks it's self as you suggest but that Imo is a bad thing as coaches need healthy competition.

I'll put money on that 17 next year winning zero.

Jesus were not even out of the running for this year and you're already writing us off for next year.

Jones puts absolutely no pressure on the centres this year, and Peyroux will next year, that's an improvement - If he turns to be of similar quality to Quinlan, than Turner may find himself moving as I suggested. SMD can also play in the 3/4s and adds some pressure - and Grace and Wellington will probably be looking for a game or two next year as well. When you compare that to Dawson this year it's an infinite improvement.

Savelio moving to the front row seems like the current plan and he certainly came of age last week. Him, Thompson, Richards and Greenwood are all going to get better and better, and Haggerty is an unknown in this. Davies and Knowles again will be looking to push through and anyone who doesn't perform will see them nipping at the heels. TRex was also rumoured, though I'm not a fan, he'd be an infinite improvement on Flanagan in terms of ability.

Will still have room for another relatively big signing I believe and KC said there's another one to come in, we're not as bad as some people seem to believe.
