Mrs G went to look at the site today and took a few piccys with her phone

you should just be able to make out bags of something in the distance and probably the "submarine " shaped thing






and looking towards the bridge over the canal


and looking exactly 180 degrees you can see how they have chopped the trees and bushes

POETS day piccies from myself

Looking towards the St.Helens suburb of Billinge



The shrinking mucky mountain and the soon to be demolished substation



Laying the drains near Peasley cross lane close to were the East stand (away end) will be



The site compound now devoid of the heavy rock grinding kit



Brown pipes and white bags.



The big grey submarine which i understand is to separate oil from water. Therefore minimising pollutants getting into the water system



Work going on near the corner of the East and south stands



levelled land, ready for the Tesco car park



The Stadium/Tesco roundabout has claimed a victim

White paper bags and submarines eh?

I bet there was money in the paper bags, to smooth over the authorities and the submarine is to sail down the canal to destory Wigan?

That was a written off cable cars taxi according to the cabbie that picked me up last Friday.

That roundabout is too fast and damn dangerous.
