I've always thought of McGuire as a good player, and I wouldn't normally wish injury on any player, but there was a certain hint of poetic justice to that.
Another classic:
You forgot to take off the "Saints Reduction Factor" when calculating the ban.

Standard suspension / Saints Reduction Factor = Actual ban for Saints player.

Therefore (2 / 3) = 0.666

0.666 < 1 therefore actual ban equals "less than 1 match".

Therefore ZERO.
Heres Shenton compared to an England centre palying Rugby for a team second from bottom. Again the stats don't favour Shenton and favour Clubb alot more.

Does this mean Shentons England's fourth best centre.

Yes It does.

Very overrated is Shenton, he's average in a Cas team. ridge is easily the best centre England has.

1. Bridge
2. Atkins
3. Shenton

In that order

NOTE: Did you not watch Bridge against the French and how good he was? His try assists, general play etc. Shenton was very very quiet, and that was against France god help him if he makes the team against the Aussies or the Kiwis.

Hes played against the Aussies and Kiwis and gave a very decent account of himself, before going off injured in the Final and then England falling to pieces after that.

Warrington have all these players that are the best players in the league, yet they have only beat one team in the top 4 all season, and they aren't top of the league. How can that be possible.

Do they? They show that Clubb has had a lot more ball than Shenton. But he has scored fewer tries and missed more tackles.

I think most Saints fans are aware that they are getting a work in progress with Shenton, and are quietly pleased about it. All the panicking about who the best centre is seems to be coming from Warrington, which is, perhaps, telling.

Where has this been comfirmed?

I very much doubt that is true considering we have three great centres already and a very hot prospect in Rhys Evans coming through the ranks.

Let me take you back to the Four Nations final, last November. England outplaying the Aussies up until the hour mark. Shenton comes off injured after a severe clash of heads, and Australia score 4 or 5 tries all down the side Shenton would have been. A narrow England lead becomes a comfortable Australian victory.

So if you are such a strong believer in the stats and how it categorically proves Bridge is better than Shenton, do you also believe Graham's show how much better a prop he's always been than Morley?

Hasn't bridge played alot of games in other positions, like scrum half?

You seem very determined to tell us how much better your players are than ours.

I think the comments prove what a quality 'young british' centre were getting. In a quality side and as he develops physically he'll undoubtedly improve.

With the pack he'll be playing behind next year let's see the stats in 12 months time!

It's a petty argument, but it's also a pointless one as senior and gleeson are still better than the lot of them.
