I didn't for a second think he would be - as I said earlier either here or on red vee - but when he does play will be when those in the know think he is ready to play.
I just hope the fans give him a chance to redeem himself rather than being on his back from the second he walks on the pitch.
The simple thing is though none of us know what his fitness level is like at the moment so any guessing as to such is purely speculation. I think we have to just have faith that Potter knows the players and the team and will judge what he thinks will be best for the team in each game when selecting who plays.
He isn't going to pick Meli if he isn't convinced he is fit enough for the game.
Unless Armstrong ups his game considerably he's heading the way of Hardman. He's done nothing wrong, that is correct, but he's not done a great deal either, he's been solid and that's pretty much it.
Whilst I don't expect him to be ripping up trees and scoring a hat trick in every match he plays, the reaction to his performances have been over the top from a lot of people.

Lets not right of this kid yet. According to Potter is main position is centre.

I'm not writing him off, and I'm quite happy for him to get more gametime, but to suggest that he's going to do a better job than The Excitement Machine over the course of this season is way off mark.
