You're a martyr for the cause.

However, you might also notice that I said the pics were fabulous.

The manhole cover kind of took me by surprise. It wasn't something I was expecting to see on a rugby pitch.

It is literally right on the corner of the turf. and is no more than i inches across. poses no risk to players at all.

That's ok then. It's impossible to tell what size it is from the perspective in your photo.

Really? What a surprise. So they would cover a manhole with what exactly? A cushion?

As it turns out it is only about an inch across which, as suggested, poses little risk to players.

Looks great everybody and and looking forward to coming over next year. Looks a nice wide pitch as well!!!

Hopefully we will be posting some pictures of ours this time next year, so look forward to some nice comments (unless you are a Wakey fan of course)
