This reminds me of a thought that I had on the Greg Bird thing. If he can't get a work permit to work in the UK, how come as a Catalans player he can play (i.e. work) half or more of his games here?

you could have a france feeder 2nd division club. put all your aussie imports who cant get a visa over in that french club . then just loan them out each weekend for the games for a few hours each week
