Even that is something that surprises me, though looking at Wikipedia it says Ward was only 5ft 11 inches.
Which I cant for one minute believe. I would have thought more like 6ft 2.

Wardy was indeed a small mucker of a prop... met him many a time off the field and i am much taller than him, i am also better looking, only just though.

Another 130 yards in 11 carries in the Wakey game, very impressive (similar figures to big tony).
