As ever with eAster, you need to win at least one - may be we'll lose to the Pies but do Hull? Difficult to take but in the long term may work out better if some key men get rested v Wigoon?

If the players need a rest it would be logical to do it on Thursday.
But it is the goons so who knows.

the thing with us is that weve got no bluddy go forward! you look at our potential back line for thursday

1.richards
2. roberts
3. gleeson
4. carmont
5. ainscough
6. sam tomkins
7. leuluai

and i am optimistic about our chances of scoring tries, the threat is there down both sides of the field

but then you look at our 4 props

coley,fielden,feka,prescott

coley- so lethargic
fielden- bottles gone
feka- a very good impact prop playing in a poor pack, put him in the saints side and he would be immense
prescott- a good young prop who we are relying to much on!

this is where saints will win the game- in the forwards!

I doubt that a player that was not fit enough to play in a must win on Sunday is going to be played in a bog standard league game on Thursday. I would like to see our pack get a reshuffle. Frodsham and Emmitt would be good options.

We've proved we can cope without Long though. Wilkin was a brilliant stand-in yesterday, his kicking game especially was spot on.
