Thaler had a nightmare.

Wigan's second try was a mile forward, no matter if his knee was in touch or not.

When he gave Wigan 6 to go when Tomkins knocked on.

Then when he shouted "play on, play on, play on, 4 play it" with about half a second in-between.

:? :? :?

I gotta say your guys were superb tonight, really thought Wigan could win as they had things in their favour but what a gritty effort. Gonna take some stopping this season.

Eastman has a great future too.

But hopefully it will rain again on GF day

Talk about blind as a bat...

1) Cunningham's try shouldn't have counted, it was a knock-on.

2) Wellens lifted Hock's arm, that try SHOULD have counted.

3) The knee was CLEARLY off the ground for Ainscough's second.

4) The better team lost, you were lucky, yet surprisingly you didn't play as dirty as you normally do. I actually can't complain about Pryce or Wilkin, except for the fact that Pryce isn't yet behind bars.

5) Wigan vs Saints makes a strong case for still being the top derby.

6) You still need to beat us three more times to level your Super League account against us.

7) Don't bother arguing with me, because again, you know I'm right, and also I'm not sticking around for the tirade of abuse and bias that I always get in here. You'd think I'd learn, but I'd rather you did.

Take this much from me... for once, you won and I can't blame Saints for cheating. The referee/video referee did it all for you, so I'm not going to tirade against the usual dirty players. For once, I'm actually quite happy with Saints performance on the field and I'll let you have this one. But playing by the rules clearly showed there's very little to choose between us. I reckon the end of the season will have us with equal wins and losses against each other provided you carry on playing by the rules.

The end.

p.s. Hope Wellens is ok. One of the few players for Saints I bear no ill will towards. I wouldn't have been saying that if it had been Cunningham, Graham, Wilkin or Pryce, believe me.

Nah, that was fine precipitation. It's got the same appearance as 'the dreaded rain' we're violently allergic to, but not the same beast.

 Not at all, he has super strong arm hair. It comes out on impact, but he's got control of it when it hits terra firma.

Of course it was. His knee being wafer thin and weighing the same as a malteser.

You know what, I agree with this. Just before your embarassing capitulation I commented on this very thread that it was as comprehensive as it gets, apart from on the scoreline. Wigan are a couple of halfbacks, a full back, 2 props and a loose forward away from being nearly as good as us.

I try to not post after games if I've got something embarassing to rant about. Or just before half time, then you can suggest it's comedy.
