I think they are just tired, which is understandable

We looked tired against against Wigan. Leeds can't really used the tired excuse, Bradford played in the sun in France, which will have been exhausting too.

It amazes me how much we talk up young players like Ainscough, who is nothing more than solid at this stage. His finishing is good, so far, but he's a world away from the superstars you see come through in the NRL every season. He is already losing his hair, he'll be bald by 23.

I think its a result of not having many good wingers about. He does look promising, although it is too early to make a proper judgement.

However if people on here are going to rave about Armstrong after a pretty ordinary performance then it makes sense that Ainscough is going to get more of a fuss made over him.

And im sure he'll get some media training :)

He would have no time to train for rugby the amount of media training you would have to send him on. You can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear!

I don't think the Bulls have been involved in games of the same level of intensity as us and Leeds. It's not just about when you play but who and how. Playing Saints (or Leeds) twice in three weeks is a very physical challenge and had the Bulls been in that situation I don't think they'd have competed as well as they did.

He's had a great start to his career by anyones standards. One thing that i have been impressed with about him so far is his ability to come back stronger from an error. He made one at Leeds which lead to Donalds try yet went on to terrorise Donald and was our mom by a country mile. He 2 late errors against Huddersfield yet has come back with 5 trys in his 2 games after.

The lack of height is a little worry but his attitude is spot on and aslong as he continues to work he'll have a very good career.

Finally we have an owner who'll allow him to develope and come back from his setbacks that will obviously happen.

Don't speak too soon - rumour has it, he's been touted to both Huddersfield and Salford to fund a 'landmark signing' and Noble has been spotted at Charnock Richard services talking to Andrew Ettinshausen over a coffee and muffin.

You heard it here first.
