Injuries are part and parcel of rugby league and mick potter had more than his share of injuries but still got us to two grand finals and had us top points scorers.
He had Cunningham and Gidley and a host of players as backup. We don't have those people anymore. We have one halfback who doesn't want to be there, we have a prop who probably doesn't want to be there and, while here, insists upon playing halfback; we have a hooker who looked brilliant for two matches and now looks average; we have a ridiculous winger in Meli and a hard worker but slow winger in Gardner, etc, etc, etc.
We don't have the team that Potter had. The club has sacrificed too many players.
