If we had that other prop, then when the like of Perry has an off couple of months, or LMS is not at his blistering best it would give us a fall back.

Did you not read Perry's article in the trade press just after Royce was sacked? He whinged on about not being picked for the first team, while reluctantly acknowledging that the tough training regime Royce had him on was helping him. I've become totally convinced, thanks to all the interviews with various players subsequent to Royce's sacking, that those players who were at best inconsistent with their effort while he was in charge coincided beautifully with those players who Royce didn't play consistently (probably because he wasn't convinced of their effort but was not willing to play them regardless of their effort, which I think is fair enough).

This season Perry has only played with real conviction against Leeds. LMS is inconsistent. I rather think their effort is a reflection of their level of professionalism and if they continue with their inconsistent attitudes they may find themselves sulking next season too. After all, Nathan Brown loves rotating his squad.

We ahve TP, Laffranchi, Perry, Clough and LMS, that is five good props, with Forster and Magennis as back up. If we are going to get in another prop, then I would assume that one of the main 5 will have to leave to make room for them. It would be great to have 6 first choice props, but I can't see it happening.
