Ferres is a good player but if we've signed Manu, he's not the type of player we should be looking at. We should be looking at an outside back (Turner?), half back and prop IMO.

Surely you don't need another second rower though? I could understand Manu because he's a step up in class than most 2nd rowers around, but Ferres is just a bit average to target imo. Wouldn't you be better spending your money on a prop?

Yes but we're a much bigger club than the shower at Warrington so he'll jump ship even for a pay cut and so manage his career aspirations.
