Just been on the council stadium site, it looks like plans have been updated, or superseeded it says.
It gives more info, looks like the sports bar is now a cafe bar.

Thats great Doghaed.

It looks like they have posted the latest plans.
You can see clearly now how things will look and the general layout of the stadium.

Its interesting how every stand has seats , though the two stands behind the sticks have seats only on the front row, presumably these are aimed mainly at helpers of disabled fans, or maybe fans who like to be with the atmosphere but havent got the legs to stand up for 80 minutes.

There are also pics of the various elevations which show extensive use of glass. Hopefully this will make the stadium quite light and not like some concrete bunker.

Didn't William Webb Ellis pick up the ball and run, someone should really tell Rugby Union.

Tesco generate the values for the site to be developed. I couldn't see Langtree developing the site without a commercial partner. There would be no financial gain for them. Simple really.

Perhaps one of the biggest complaints from the fans about Warrington's new ground when it opened was that people were too squashed in the standing areas.

This actually lead to the capacity being reduced by the club. From these up-dated drawings Saints have based the terracing upon each person having 0.26/m2. Not sure how this relates to Warrington's stadium.

I know I'd try not to share my 1m2 with three fatties.

If you read through Council stadium site it clearly state's that if the stadium capacity does not reach what was asked for, the developers bond will be call in.

Maximum person allowed to stand in a sports stadium is 47 per 10m2, which works out at .21m2 of space per person, Saints stadium is .26m2, per person, which works out at 38 persons per 10m2.

$hit Ia'm bored.

Thanks for that, i was looking for density info re standing on terraces last night.
I was worried Saints might do what Wire did, and use minimum space, then find their ground didnt hold as many as was designed for.
Hence why wires ground which was built for 14200 only holds 13k.
