I really, really hope that if that's true it's because we've signed someone else we feel is a better option. If it's another example of our inability to close a deal I'll be really disappointed.

Maybe Brown has identified what we really need - props for instance - and decided that we have enough second rowers already (most of whom seem to be playing prop!)? Just a thought.

Of course we may never have been in for Manu in the first place. There have only ever been rumours.
