Sorry if I missed it, but why didn't Armstrong play? I didn't hear about him getting a knock or anything. Seems strange to play a young stand-off there instead.
Maybe Potter believes Wheeler offers more in attack than Armstrong?

Maybe Potter just wanted to give someone else an opportunity?

No one is slagging him off. Ski suggested he has a big chest, which is obvious, and I suggested he had a poor game, which he did.

He didn't have a poor game. He made a few panicy mistakes but that didn't add up to a poor game, and is very understandable in a youngster put on the big field. He did some good stuff too. He had a mixed game not a poor game.

Coming into the team, but being played out of position is a mixed blessing for him. He will be glad to be there, but frustrated he can't play in what he feels is his natural position.

Didnt say it wasnt. Was pointing out that playing poorly is playing poorly, and those kind of mistakes are nothing to do with playing out of position. Tackling, passing and catching are pre-requisites of all positions.
