Meli did a lot of work in attack on Maunday Thursday but 47 missed tackles. Not good.

i think the missed tackles was more due to the encounter with leeds 4 days before, just a bit of fatigue.

Thanks for the work and effort compiling these data.

The statistics are very enlightening, and give an idea of each individual's performance.

I wonder whoever compiles the data could add "minutes played"which would give a more accurate way of comparing individual performances.

Sorry Mate - the stats dont come with any minutes played.

Quite possibly the official stats compiled for the Saints may have them but I have no access to them.

So for better or worse this is the best I can do.

Thanks for keeping the stats up sir. I've broken them down a bit to include total figures and averages. These stats are for Saints (c/o OPTA and St Etrigan) up to and including round eleven. Saints OPTA Stats up to and including round eleven Categories Saints offensive stats covering carries, metres, scoots, metres/game and metres/carry. I've also put the other offensive categories in this listing as well for ease of reference i.e. tries, try assists, tackle busts, carries/tackle bust, offloads, clean breaks and carries/clean break. Saints defensive stats covering tackles, tackles/game, tackling percentage, missed tackles and marker tackles. Saints penalty & error stats covering penalties and errors (as of round eleven Saints had received no red or yellow cards). Saints kicking stats covering goals, missed goals, goal kicking percentage, drop goals and forty twenty (although OPTA says Saints have not had one despite me being sure Eastmond kicked one at Wakefield).

Mikes Stats are interesting one thing that I found was good to compare was that the average for the team is

metre/carry = 6.95
No of tackles made per missed tackle = 13.8
% of missed tackle of tackles attempted = 6.75% (anyone with 93.25% tackling is above average)

- so you can see who is carrying their weight and who isnt.
