Ok but I would like to have a look at them again ???

I'll have to wait till I pick up the DVD on Wednesday.

Mick, he got them right. We got our first try after the most bizarre incident since Sherriffe had the brain fart at Odsal. They got a try, maybe two off a clear forward pass or two. I'm told one of ours was maybe forward too. It happens. This time everything likely did even out. We won a match we had few expectations of winning through sheer grit and determination; lets not spoil it and hack off the numerous Saints who have been so gracious in defeat, eh?

To be honest, having taken note of what those with superior knowledge of the rules explained, I rather think he has it right too. That's another week when a lot of people will have learnt a rule they were not previously aware of! And another week where you have to take your hat off to the video ref.

It was just an observation, that notwithstanding the best team won. In a strange kind of way I enjoyed the game. It's the first time in ages I had been on the edge of my seat until the final whistle - waiting for one of those 'Wide-to-West' moments.

Bradford deserved their win and I for one, despite the performance as a whole and the result, enjoyed the game. I experienced the whole spectrum of emotions.

Yes, there were errors from the officials and from Saints but that must not detract from the fact that Bradford deserved their win.

If it was clear to the VR howcome he took so long with the decision?

That's a good question, why did it (and why does it generally) take so long? I could see it was a knock on from the first couple of replays. I suppose he was making sure as he was the man who would take the flak for an incorrect hasty call if he got it wrong. Ian Smith holds the record having taken five minutes over a 'no try' call last season at Headingley. Thankfully this didn't come close.

As for Stevo, I believe he genuinely knows the game but he is contractually obliged to find controversy in every situation and it's an task he excels in.

so you scousers reckon the ref cost you the match, saints fans are unbelievable, week in week out you get the majority of the decisions, thats how its works with the big clubs, same in footy with utd n chelsea etc, to say the ref cost you last night is utter rabbit droppings, yeah it was a knock on but bulls had 2 dissalowed one of which was a try, saints, eeerggh makes me heave

if this is the case why have leeds not been on the right side of a pen count since half way through last season

No, its just that Leeds' spoiling tactics and whingeing at refs has finally come home to roost.

Leeds discipline has been nothing short of pathetic under the reign of McClennan. Unless he sorts is out the only day out for the whinos fans will be Murrayfield Magic this weekend.
