found it all very strange - no idea why he did it really. As someone else pointed out, he played there for a bit - so must have some built up tension from the past!

Anyway, I suspect that is the end of his career at Saints (again).

Or maybe he was trying to cheer the crowd up and have some realistically harmless banter that the current clientelle can't handle seemingly.

"Family game" eh.......

I wonder where the atmosphere went.... hmmmm.....

Any club emplyee who encourages abuse of paying customers has no place at the club IMO. Every single fan he puts off coming over to KR hits the club's coffers.

We often whine about poor away support - is it any wonder?

Holding is an embarrassment IMO.

Bradford have always brought low numbers over anyway, after the past debacle over resting players for other competitions etc etc.

Just as well there weren't many there last night for NH to offend.

Well we're certainly not going to fix that situation by getting our MC to abuse the few who do bother to travel.

It's the kind of thing fans would say, an employee of the club can't get away with it.

There'd be uproar on here and Redvee if similar things were said about our support at Wire or Warrington.

Nowt wrong with a bit of banter.

Whilst we are on about half time games, after seeing Scully struggle a while ago, and then an up and coming youngster last home game, then watching Tommy-God, he is a master of kicking isn't he?
The two guys could have opened their pockets and Tommy could have kicked the ball into them. The high and accuracy in his kicks are fantastic.

Looks like that's it from Neil!

http://www.saintsrlfc.com/news/1320

SAINTS' infamous half time game Beat the Bomb is proving popular this 2009 season with lots of fans still interested in playing.

Hosted by Wish FM presenter Chris Milow with the ball kicked by Tommy Martyn the game simply involves catching one of Tommy God’s bombs.

Two contestants will get three attempts each and the person who catches the most will win a Saints signed shirt.

If it’s a draw or no one manages to catch one, the game will carry on until a ball is finally caught.

Six contestants have already won Saints signed shirts this season but there are still spaces available to play in 2009.

For your chance to play in the 2009 half time game, you can enter on online at www.saintsrlfc.com/fanzone - by filling in your details in the 'your thoughts' section or email podcast@saintsrlfc.com

Contestants must be 18 or over. All prizes are non transferable. Normal terms and conditions apply.

Terms & Conditions:
Players must be 18 or over.
Players must not be on any medication, suffer from a medical condition, be pregnant etc…
The club is not liable for any personal injuries suffered during the game.
People selected will be notified three days prior to the game.
The date of games may change without prior notice.
No prizes are transferable.
Participation is by invitation only and is not transferable.
