The decision to not recruit bar Tony P with so many senior pros leaving now looks pretty silly. The last couple of years we've had the best side and not won SL as we've run out of steam for the business end. This year we didn't reach May before we were running on fumes.

I'd find it pretty funny if Wigan finish the job and put 60 on us. It would certainly put our season in a different light. For next season they should start signing players. We need bodies to rotate the players from time to time and we can't do that now.

It's the same squad that are still top of the League and had a bad couple of games for gods sake.
It's about finishing in the top 8 this year with a fully fit squad going into the playoffs, we don't need to finish top as you get no credit whatsoever
We know the playoff system rewards mediocrity as shown in the past few years so lets just remember that and fire at the right end of the Year

Fair point from Rommel. There is no point killing ourselves at this point of the season. Like you say, teams don't get anything for finishing top, it's just a waste of time. As long as we get in the top 8, fully fit, then that's the time to start going all out.
We went all out last season to finish top, and for what?

The fixture list has been an uneven mess as well so finishing top shouldn't be rewarded.

Funny you seem to forget that when lauding your top spots of recent years, you forget it means nothing because the fixture list hasn't been even.
