That I agree with.

Full credit to Wigan, they defended very well and were very enthusiastic throughout. But, Saints were terrible dropping far too much ball, throwing stupid passes and defending terribly throughout. That's not a return of the derby, that's just a repeat of the last few years switched around.

Yes, I am, but I'd already bought my ticket before the Magic weekend so I aint going to waste it. However, I am not feeling especially enthusiastic. Not because we've lost twice but because of the way we have been playing. If I see that again on Sunday I'm just going to leave because it brings me no pleasure whatsoever to see them embarrass themselves and the fans on TV.

I was not that concerned that it was Wigan. I was more worried about players form going into next weeks cup game.

Wigan do not get to play in many big games these days so a big effort was expected.

I have to say I don't hate Wigan the way I once did. In a way a feel a bit sorry that they have become such an average side.

Your average Saints fan has more ill feeling towards the Whinos these days.

Lets get some perspective on this, we were beaten by wigan..... WIGAN ... of all the bloody teams that we could have been beaten by, it has to be the worst wigan team for many a long year and we get handed a good spanking Oh and dont forget the Murreyfield factor ... if it wasnt for the drink I could hate the scots

It isn't a patch on the 2005 and 2006 vintage! that truely was an awful team.

This Wigan side has enough quality in it to beat 'most' sides on a regular basis if the application from the players is right.

Wigan have not provided the big contests in the big games.

Look at LFC and their fans. I think the Liverpool - Man United rivalry is bigger than Liverpool - Everton.

The world is getting smaller and so is the scope of the derby match.
