I always knew that wouldn't happen, saints wouldn't risk signing a unproven young kid that has had a very bad injury.

Looked very good before he got injured but very big risk.

Pretty sure he's a halfback, not sure if he's a stand off or scrumhalf tho

Lomax played stand off throughout most of his amateur days at Orrell. I think thats his preferred position but Wellens was a scrum half before he broke into the first team. I guess you just have to take your opportunity as it presents itself and do whats required.

Il never forget the 1st time i saw wello play scrumhalf for saints when he was just breaking in to first team, he looked shocking! He was slow and wouldn't pass the ball.

Well, that depends on whether we have the other halfback covered I suppose. Roby? Some guy from the terraces?
