With Wigan's desire to fill the club with drunken no marks like Riddell, Smith and Bird, it will be no surprise to see the "starlets" falling under their form of professionalism. Why spend a fortune bringing these kids through, only to then bring in wasters who will undo all the good work?

I would keep both, they have a presence about them that when they are on the pitch, their influence can inspire the rest of the squad, KC especially and they both lead by example. Granted Long's place kicking isn't what it use to be but his kicks in open play and play making is still at his best.
