Does anyone even know the extent of the assault? Read somewhere that the woman in question got three bruises on her arm, and her new partner was pushed and fell over/banged his head.

I'm leaning to think that this has been blown waaayyyy out of proportion going off what has been mentioned in press reports and so forth. I realise that relying on press reports is hardly ideal, but if the woman had taken a good thumping/kicking, we'd surely know about it.

Not condoning any sort of non-reciprical violence, naturally, but until someone knows the true extent of said assault, i don't see how the club's punishment can be regarded as inadequate.

the first judge who found them guilty said he was thinking jail time? so there must of been something quite unsavoury in the evidance.

as ive said lucky for pryce and readon they got a change of judge fopr the sentancing? not sure why the judge was changed? maybe the first one was too drunk lol

Never liked Kevin Costner, or any other Robbing Hood!!!!

the courts have issued their sentence and so have the club.

RE MIllward. what he did was done at a moment when he was acting in the capacity of an employee of the club. he was not subject to criminal charges but was subject to internal discipline. He was effectively abusing his position.

Leon is a different issue. Lets be clear, as a Bradfordian whose recently deceased friend was glassed by Leon, I have no time whatsoever for him as a person, but he is an incredible footballer. He needs to focus on that aspect of his life and now live it out on the back rather than front pages of newspapers.
From what our local paper reported, it sounds like he was daft to get involved, but the other guy came at him witha rounders bat. He should not have been in that position, but how many of us would have done the same?
He is embarrassed by it all and rightly so. He should issue an apology to the fans of your club, as he has slightly sullied your image, but in my opinion nowhere near as much as Long and Gleeson did a few years back.
He will get stick from away fans like on Friday, and in a way that will be a punishment. I hope that we will stop talking about Leon Pryce the thug and spend more time talking and reading about Leon the great rugby player ( except when he is playing against the BUlls).

No he didn't. Reardon did, or are you suggesting he should pay for someone else's crime?

Lol at some of the deluded posts on here.

He pushed a guy over, nothing more than what Willie Talau was doing round town every week FFS! The only guilty person was Reardon and that was for telling his ex that there son was in hospital. Which is sick!

Nice to see Wigan fans admitting that Fat Feka aint a key player.

he didnt break in, reardon did. leon could have followed him in to try and get him to come out and make sure things didnt go to far, for all any of us know, but when he went in, reardons ex wifes partner came at him with a bat, he defended himself by pushing him away, he didnt hit anyone, he didnt attack anyone with any sort of weapon, he defended himself, the same as anyone would have done, his mistake was to follow reardon to the flat in the first place. does that mean he deserves to be sacked, i dont think it does,
