A makeshift backline,two front line props and their understudy missing.
Some people cant get their heads around the fact that we were never going to blow
the Quins away.
They tackled well and never threw the towell in. Scored two trys one an intercept if he'd missed it was another Saints try.
Good Saints win tonight.
When we knocked Leeds out of the cup where were all these posters telling us that Potters destroying our attack,hopeless at defence etc.
I seem to remember it was other way round,probably the same posters that are now telling us he's crap.

Whereas some of us already knew that before the match started because we have a healthy respect for Quins but that still doesn't stop us thinking that Saints were dull tonight and lacked inspiration/energy/motivation/whatever.

It was a makeshift side with half the team playing out of position. To get the win was important, entertainment factor will return when the players can play in they're natural positions

Nobody said that.

In fact I didn't expect to in last night.

We didn't play well again and was shown at times how to play rugby but we got 2 points and was poor so it can't be bad.
