As good a player he could potentially be, I'd be extremely unhappy if somehow we wasted £250,000 we don't have on him, when we have Eastmond, Wheeler, Lomax, Ellis and Karalius coming through, and we're in need of a nasty b'stard prop.

It's been fun.

as a wire fan given the choice of Eastmond or Myler i'd go for Eastmond.

The fact that he plays with better players around him maybe doesn't do him justice whereas Myler is a big fish in a small pond so is easily noticed.

Looking at their styles though and this will sound contradictory i think Myler plays a similar style to Briers so would fit in easier at the wire than Eastmond who is more akin to Burrows

Why would Saints offer a huge amount of money they probably can't afford on a young player they do not need?

Non starter for me.

Tactical.

Forces Warrington to pay over the odds, thereby negating their ability to sign other top class players.

It amy also be nothing more that Offiah spreading rumours to create an imaginary bidding war.

Who says we don't need him? Eastmond is far from a proven starting scrum half, Smith has been written off and there is no one else.

Our only problem is that we don't have the funds to match the Wire.

Me, I say we don't need him. Well that's my opinion

Saints whole approach over last few years has been to give youngsters the path through to the first team.

To spend 250k (figure mentioned previously) would be crazy on this kid in this day and age.

Give Kyle the 7 shirt for me.

I agree. Myler hasn't really proved himself. When his pack is beaten, he has been shown up to be fairly poor, just when salford need some inspiration. Given a good pack he will be good, so should do well at wire behind Morley and Carvell etc.
