think things have escalated out of proportion.

Cunningham doesn't strike me as a dirty player, tough yes dirty no. he shouldn't have struck out in the manner he did but i'm pretty certain he didn't intend stosic to be injured in the way he seems to have been.
that said i don't think he can feel aggrieved if he receives a ban

as for JD, the incident looked a lot worse than it was, looked like a legal fend initially which because of the transferring of his weight turned into his arm contacting with wellens neck/face. personally dont think it was a foul but at the speed it happened old rubber face may feel he had legitimate complaint about the incident at the time.

it's a tough sport RL and these things will happen

JDs fend was not ilegal, he makes first contact with the flat of his hand on Wellens left collarbone area.
The hand then slips over Wellens shoulder and Jds upper arm contacts wellos face.

Watch it in super slo-mo its easy to see what happened.

There is a difference between a punch in a fight though and a puch on the ground causing (potentially) serious damage to a player? We'd be calling for life bans if the boot was on the other foot. 5 games IMO.

Oh, and i don't think there was anything wrong with what JD did to Wello either. Fozzard does that every week.

5 match ban! Give over.

IMO and I'm being fair, I think it was a pen and nothing more.

It was wrong for KC to punch him and it was a cheap shot but much worse happen every week.

I thought the pratt broke new grounds last night in his allegation that Pryce 'conned' the referee for that last penalty.

I saw the game on SKY and in the replay there was ample evidence of a hand on the ball pulling it at the time it was lost and there is no way Pryce could have known that the referee would see it his way!

Stevo seems to set himself up weekly as the judge, jury and executioner of players and coaches behaviour and I would like to hear him apologise publicly to Leon for last night's remark.

One thing is apparent though, you need a bl**dy goal kicker and I hope Gidley kicked Wellens' backside for wasting two good try scoring chances last night by not passing.

It looks like it will all come down to the Leeds v Saints game now?

Pugwash.
notice stevo didn't say much about the cheap shot cunningham made on stotic. possibly putting him out for approx 8 weeks with a cracked eye socket. shown himself up badly. should get banned, but won't. by the way good luck against wigan.

that in response to me Clan? if so i agree with you i dont think it was a foul, just that i can understand why at full speed wellens may have thought he had a case (incorrectly)
apologies if my post wasn't clearer

Serves him right really for fuc*ing about at the play the ball all game. Was constantly having second goes at the Saints players. Keiron was gunning for him and rightyly so. You mess with the king, you end up comming off second best! Been the same for the last 14 years.

It seems most Saints fans can agree/disagree with some knowledge of the game, added to a little common sense.

If the bits in bold are true then it would have happened like two men stood toe to toe, it did not so its a cheap shot.

I for one will let the RFL deal with this and any other issues during the game.
