calm down, calm down! :D

27 rounds, not 1 and hull were very, very good tonight, much better than i expected, and i admit as much.

However, leon and flannery esp, need to look at their pay packets and see what they do to earn it.

but overall Hulls defence was awesome, and we suffered from alot of injuries, which leads me to (again) question the conditioning system at saints

The conditioner was probably cheap as well.

We seem to be doing everything on the cheap at present. When fans stop turning up do you think the Chairman may wonder whether cheap is always the best option?

I'm torn over this. Do I

a) Boo them until my lungs bleed
b) Get behind them and support them as they are doing their best in a situation where they are restricted by the need to invest in the stadium project?

Yes.

I tried it for the first time tonight. I refused to boo last season, even though I couldn't bear to see what the team had turned in to and even though I was becoming convinced that Potter (and possibly our cheap conditioner) was responsible for the change.

However, tonight I didn't care. Booing was strangely carthetic. It's cheap too: it uses less energy than being righteous.

So go on. Try it. It will make you feel a ton better!

Pity your board missed the chance to 'poach' Justin from our rivals HKR. Much as it pains me to admit, he would surely have been a much better option for you. Also knows a thing or two about getting the very best out of more average players. .......grannyfan Cindy

unfortunately we don't have a millionaire to spend our way out of things until finally you get a winning coach and team.

I would have loved that. Justin is my favourite coach at present and I think he'd do our lads the world of good. However, Potter was probably cheaper.

Potter does seem to be a most uninspiring personality, i'm not sure he will ever be able to get the best out of the team.

Also, when does the contract of Chris (Mr Average) Flannery expire ?

Some might look at this as being harsh but I think it's fair. When are the Rugby League going to stop persisting with this fantasy expansion. If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.

Re: Potter out NOW : Sun Feb 07, 2010 2:54 am
Potter seems to be trying to play Saints like he did Catalans, the problem being that Saints don't have a monster set of forwards capable of rolling down the field, don't have an incisive attacking fullback like Greenshields and now no longer have someone to hold the team together like Bosc.
