Poor wigoon everyone ganging up on em!!! Get a grip. Must admit tho Wigan are back.... Back to being biggest moaning bunch in super league after YEARS in the wilderness.
Wigan fans...I've lost count on the number of goons cheering on the Saints against us (that's St Helens...their supposed biggest rivals EVER).....whats good for the goose and all that..... deary me!
Moe syslak wrote:I'll be cheering for saints myself and have no qualms about it. Why is it when wigan fans are cheering on saints (their biggest rivals) against wire it is because we are a horrible little club etc etc, yet when wire fans want saints to beat wigan it is because 'WE ARE BACK'?
Hilarious..... I always want warrington to beat Stains, always support the underdog.
Hope you guys make it to the final my boss is a wigan fan and i dont want to spend the next 6 months in camp bastion with him gloating about how they are the bee's knee's. Hopefully you can do Leeds in the final!
Not sure why anyone other than Cas supporters would want Cas in the final. We need the game to be a show piece event. A Wigan/Saints v Cas final has the potential to be a walkover and not what we as a sport need in our biggest day out of the year on terrestrial tv. I dislike Leeds as much as the next man and were it a league game I would always support Cas, but sometimes you need to look at the bigger picture and I feel it would be far better for our game should Leeds make the final, regardless of who it is against.
I wonder if they thought the Wigan v Sheffield final was a walkover?
Parry Gordon's passes,Les Boyd's strong runs,Mike Gregory's workrate,Des Drummond's tries,Jonathan Davies' sheer genius...........oh,and Alan Rathbone's punches! All memories of the legendary venue which was Wilderspool stadium. Gone maybe, but never, ever forgotten.
I've not got a problem with the wigan team, it's the wigan fans I'm not particularly keen on. Far to arrogant for my liking! Also a lot of my mums side of the family are from st. helens and saints supporters, so for that reason I'm going to loan my support to saints today, but either way it's sure to be a great game, and let's hope todays winners keep the trophy on the right side of the pennines come the end of august! Another reason I want saints to win is if they lose today they will have lost 3 semi finals on the trot. How heartbreaking would that be for their fans? So good luck wigan, but come on you saints!
"With a reaping hook, Cronus lopped off his father's genitals and flung them into the sea. From the drops of blood that fell on the earth came the Giants."
Is it too much ask that you will win today but Wigan will give you the hardest game of the season so you'll still be knackered for our visit next Friday? You win this week, Giants win next week will do me fine. Good Luck.
WIGAN ARE BACK to what exactly ? Oh i see what you mean, back to beating weakened teams. How many key players did we have missing in the cup ?
Just remind us again how many key players did Saints have missing in last years grand final ?
When did you actually last beat a strong Saints or Warringtom team ? Don't include beating us last year at the HJ, we had a lead of around 14pts and were cruising then we lost both Briers and Monaghan, another example of Wigan capitalising on other teams misfortunes.
STOP BEIN A SOUR PIG AND ACCEPT DEFEAT U MARD booty

aboveusonlypie... If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.
