It's fair shout but the players themselves need to take some responsibility. Doctors should be able to tell the referee to order a player off if their being difficult, they've made it in football now that a doctor can't be overruled by a manager or coach

Except it only doesn't count if the ref puts it on report ... Which, as discussed, at length, he didn't. It is also only applicable if concussion is the diagnosis. Which it wasn't.

The doctors would have had a full opportunity to examine at half time, with no need to interchange, but they can only go off what Burns tells them

Spot on Aldy! Within 5 minutes of it happening I was 99% certain he'd fractured his facial bones;the other 1% was for an x-ray to confirm how bad it was!The medical staff had a duty of care to Travis even if he was reluctant to come off wth adrenaline pumping through his veins.

I reckon the best thing to do is to leave it to the saints players if they see it as intention to injure Burns. Just wait until HKR come to Langtree Park and when Green arrives "gang tackle" him with legal challenges to the ribs, you never know he might not survive the onslaught to carry on in the game.

The best thing to do is to hit the sod with an assault charge.In my opinion it was a deliberate attempt to take out Burns,and it worked.Also it has been said before the disciplinary panel is unfit for purpose.(I wonder whose chairman said it?)

It's a pity the Staint's medical team did'nt have a bit more clinical acumen during the game to take Travis off.

Would that have stopped the triple fracture? No it wouldn't! Him carrying on didn't make it any worse

This just gets better.......... Not only are we glossing over a deliberate late assault that fractures a cheekbone but the Saints medical staff are to blame for letting him play on.

Easy to see why the reasonable posters are losing any respect for KR but equally why supporting the thugs from over the lump is coming easy to them.
