You talk utter complete s**te, everyone knows the goons are favourites to sign little Sammy so if as expected he re-appears over at the rented accommodation I don't think many people will be shocked or think of you as some kind of oracle. I'm sure Pollard is just working hard on finding some new way to cheat the salary cap again

Understand that a tier two player is still an outstanding, world class individual. But the aforementioned (plus others) are freaks of nature.

In terms of an ability to change a game and/or win a game almost single handedly, then Sam Tomkins is definitely in that tier that you describe.

Seriously, are we judging him on 25 games in the NRL, on top of a move over 10,000 miles away, a different way of life, and the inevitable homesickness??? How many Southern Hemisphere players have come into our league and took time to settle before making an impact?
He's scored 13 tries by the way...not a terrible stat.

He looks like he's a yard or 2 slower than when he left Wigan, I'm not sure his game is suited to full back anymore. I think it's time he moved back to 6.

I think wigans style of attack fits Sam tomkins down to the ground. He's Defo lost pace but still top class.

His game has definitely changed. His decision making and timing are first class, but his kick returns aren't great. It would be better for the England team if he moved into the halves too.

In his last year at Wigan he wasn't doing the kick returns, he passed to Richards and Charnley.

It's when he gets the ball in that loop that Wigan do, that's when he's dangerous.
