I can't think of any other reason why it would be so quiet other than he's leaving and we're just waiting for the ink to dry on Thurston's contract before making the big announcement.

Strange that there doesn't seem to have been much if any NRL interest in him. He's a massive talent, probably the most talented player I've ever seen Saints produce.

The crowd tomorrow is only going to be around 9,000 tbh. Wire aren't as giddy about it this time.

Really can't see it happening given the comments from so many around the club recently. But it would be great if it did.

I'd disagree. Sts and Bath are too different animals and I think Bath hold all the cards in this situation. It would be unwise for Sts to leak any news. Especially if they are hoping for Kyle to return ala Lee SMith
